Possibly the nerdiest argument I've ever heard is claiming that #haskell programmers should stop calling <*> the "TIE fighter" and start calling it the "TIE advanced".

I love it!

I mean, they're not wrong- if you look up(if you don't remember) what time fighters and tie advanced fighters look like- the advanced is clearly the better choice.
