My latest pen is a wet-noodle (extremely flexible) 100+ year old fountain pen. She writes beautifully and is a Waterman's 42 1/2 (the creator of the fountain pen). Moreover she is a safety pen, meaning the nib retracts into the barrel before you put the cap on. There arent too many of these floating around after over 100 years!

As long as you like them... Me as much as I love the vintage pens at a minimum I need a flex nib. You just dont get those cheap, new or old.

I don't have any vintage pens, but my safety pen is Noodler's Boston Safety. It's cool, but I'm looking for a better nib for it.

@freemo
Actually, I'm not into flex. My handwriting just doesn't work with it. I like my nibs smooth but hard as a nail. I just don't know where to find something that'll work well here (in Taiwan). I did have the nib from my Muji pen in it, & it was better, but still not ideal. The search goes on...

@freemo
Yes, more options. But not a lot of nibs for sale in stores here.
