WOA I need to buy one of these! A Completely modular, repairable laptop. Not just with external modules for the ports but designed to be easy to open it up and change any of the internal components as well.
@Locksmith I would much prefer an AMD version as well. But I have come to not expect AMD in laptops sadly.
They exist, I have my older one I no longer use that is AMD as well.. but they are a rarity. I also have higher priorities.. a super high resolution (well above 1080) and large screen size are top priorities to me and that really limits my options if i want AMD.
Can't use a desktop when im in a cafe. I already have a very powerful desktop. A laptop is supplementary to that and to ensure i can still code on the go.
Strictly speaking I could also write my code on a notebook and debug on paper..
I'd say features that significantly decrease the time I spend waiting is something that pays for itself. so even if it is a want, its effectively paying me to get it in the end.

I think modern high end laptops with big screen are around 1.5Kg which isn't much of a weight. A typical brick found on most construction sites weighs 2.3 kg so we cansafely say it is less then a brick to carry a big screen laptop.
Though ofcourse if your criteria for laptop mobility inspects it's ability to perfectly fit in the pocket of your pants then this is a very bad deal.
