I just bought a Cosmo Communicator. It is a palm-top computer but also a cell phone. It also supports linux... this is going to be soooo epic.

@eionmac I explained it, its a palm top that runs linux, which is what matters.

I also mentioned the name of the device, so its a quick google search to find a link if your interested in learning more.

@freemo It presently runs Android. (Linux inside). Other linux distros not yet available. I will wait until it can run a distro I use. I see it as a pocket distro (I rarely use other than 2G phones).

@eionmac You are correct that Ubuntu is the only distro currently officially supported. That said, should be trivial to install any distro you want at this point. If ubuntu runs it wouldnt be very hard to run other distros.

@freemo I would be scared to mess with the installed distro! I am no competent enough.

@eionmac The distro isnt pre-installed for you. If you want to run linux on it, even ubuntu, you still have to install it. They just provide an easy custom installer is all.
