I would go a step further and say that libraries ARE my church.

@freemo
But be careful to not go even further as you might end up with the Scientology folks ๐Ÿ˜‚

On a serious note, I really love a good library, especially ones with the open access, so you can just wander and explore new, random and interesting topics

@voltar13 Yea surprisingly europes libraries are a bit lacking compared to the good american ones. It was one of the things I really missed.

@freemo
Libraries= churches of knowledge
Librarians= priests and pastors of knowledge
Bookmobiles= missionaries
Books= daily bread; symbolic flesh and blood of deity
Silence=prayers

Seems legit.

@freemo in some catholic circles, maintaining a repository of worldly knowledge is just as important as reciting the gospel. So either way, you're doing some god's work I suppose.

@Columbkille You can, but doing one will always take time away from the other. So in the end you can do both but not without the detriment of the other.

That said if you want to go to church for an hour out of the day I wont hold that against you.
