@freemo I had an idea for a feature, citing posts

As we can currently embed posts in a website would it be possible to grab post information such as who posted it, date etc and a link to the post (which you can get to by clicking on it anyway)

That way when writing documents it is possible to quote something but then include a full citation in a bibref file.

@zleap That would be cool. Yea id support a patch with that feature if you wanted to submit it. Or anyone. Otherwise I can consider implementing it myself when I have some time. Depends on how things go in Egypt while im there.

@freemo Sounds good, I am not sure how to write patches, but maybe implementing here as we are a stem instance would be good starting point,

No rush as it was just an idea. but thank you for considering the idea. .

@zleap If you want ideas like this to be taken into more serious consideration I highly suggest you submit them to the repo for QOTO. This has a few advantages not hte least of which being that I dont forget the idea. But it also means other people who might want to help have a place to look for a todo list.

If you cant/wont develop then submitting well thought out complete issues for bugs and feature requests is really the next best way to contribute to the development.

@freemo Ok, I will look at how to do that,

is this on the git.qoto.org server ?
