Someone asked me where I was on the political compass, I said "Fun Zone, definitely somewhere in the Fun Zone".
@freemo @js290
yeah, it's clearly satirical and it is pretty funny, the fact that they put this guy on like he's an expert but then he just spouts some really silly versions of misogynistic views is really reminiscent of pickup artist culture and I love that he manages to put on this strange air of both professionalism and simultaneously seem like he's desperately coping is actually hilarious.
I was just clarifying the meaning of trans women being posed as below the normal lowest threshold of crazy, but now it makes sense, both the misogynistic concept that all women are pretty crazy, and the trans-phobic sentiment that trans women are men and therefor less crazy. just seeing the image without this context just made me think it was weirdly trans affirming while still using a slur though which confused me a bit.
@Zest
Sort of more like the more hot someone is the more crazy a person might put up with
@freemo Because they are essentially the Science of Attraction?
@freemo there's an implication in this image that being hotter makes you less dangerous, also that "tranny's" are actually more sane than anyone else, plus very hot.
