We need to bring back the reflexive and violent reaction to communism in the US.

@swiley promoting violence is concerning for me as a moderator, suggesting it is ok to kill someone based on their opinions is not going to fly here.

@freemo I'm moving my political stuff to a self hosted instance after Christmas. After that you won't have to deal with me.

@swiley @freemo they do feel that way towards us already. only difference is we're not supposed to retaliate.
@swiley @freemo there tends to be a big air of political correctness around the left's calls for violence. it's usually written off as "oh they need to be 'held accountable'" or whatever crap twitter says is okay. but what they usually mean is those people should be forcibly unemployed by an army of harpies who will attack anywhere that person works, and they leave the part where you're supposed to starve to death unspoken.

the right is just more honest about wanting them to die and skips the whole "oh no it's just 'accountability' meaning 'you cant work anywhere ever again'" charade.

No arguments there. That said I wouldnt support the lefts tactics of violence/doxxing on qoto anymore than I'd support it from the right.

@swiley

@freemo @swiley you would because everyone does. they play the proper word games to hide what they mean. at least as far as they have to. when they're on home ground they don't.

how many times has twitter said its OK to talk about punching nazis etc

@icedquinn

Can you give an example where we ever condoned that shit from the left here?
