@freemo Thanks.
I misspell someone's name in an email.
The email itself is very short, just a couple of words.
And the email is for the workplace.
Should I make an apology or how to deal with it?
I tried to find an email template, but most of them make the apology for the misspelling in the body of the email or in a document. If I tried to follow them, the reply/correction would be too more complex than the original one itself.
@Acer Honestly I wouldnt even bother to apologize, I doubt most people would be offended. You could remark on it briefly if you have a follow up email for some reason. But I wouldn't really go through the trouble of apologizing in its own email for just that.
If you do feel the need to correct yourself and apologize I would keep it very brief and just reply with something like "I noticed after sending the last email I misspelled your name. My apologies"
