Started the pumps for the microgreens. Put in a bleach tablet for now, to help the lines. They clog up and I use a very narrow and long brush.

@hasmis bleach is cleaning the lines of what exactly, bacterial growth?

Might i suggest hydrogen peroxide instead. I used it on my hydroponics a lot and it does a WONDERFUL job. Not onnly does it keep the water clean and prevents growth but unlike bleach the oxygen is actually really good for root systems and helps them grow better.

@freemo That's great idea. I also use it in the fish tank.

@freemo Just ordered 12% from ammie. That'll clear your nose. I also use 75% vinegar for cleaning. Saves on bottles.

@hasmis it doesnt take much... i forget the amount but i kknow i would put just a tiny capful fof 40% in my relatively large reservoir.

@freemo 40% ?? Is that left over from your 1950's jet pack?

@hasmis Its used to make your own H2O2 solution usually, buy in bulk sort of thing.. however 40% in its full concentration is used to bleach hair so itt is readily available at hair salons

@freemo Ha, 40V hperox is 12%. (used for hair) I cannot find 40% per in Canada, or anywhere. It's just for rocket packs. ๐Ÿ˜

@hasmis Im not near my lab so I cant even double check.. but pretty sure mine is 40% lab grade.

@freemo At the lab, have a sniff of lab 'pure ethanol'. I remember that from working at a big high-pressure rock lab in my younger days. A sniff from a half meter away made me yell 'Yowsa!', and it over stamped all damage from playing with liquid mercury. :)
