David (admin of tech.lgbt) claims I harassed him... I show screenshots and links to all out private adn public conversation... no harasment, he of course cant link to or screenshot anything to back anthing up.
pettingzoo instance claims people from this instance told their users to "commit suicide"... they were made a-fool when I showed screen shots of our moderator interface showing there was never a single report from their instance in the history of QOTO.

My secret hope is that over time, as ActivityPub adoption grows, petty, childish people like these admins will become increasingly less relevant in it.

Of course it will, which is why its so important we find a solution before it gets worse.

To be fair, these look like older but smaller instances that are very cliquish in nature, as opposed to the instances that are actually seeing growth, and most people don't act in this petty a manner, and wouldn't do so under pretty much any reasonable circumstances.
I still think the solution is to move beyond the current system of people being in positions of influence over the current Fediverse via expanding the latter in ways outside of the control of people like this. While this might happen naturally, working to make it happen sooner isn't a bad idea.
