@EubieDrew hey, would you like me to add you as a **registered** member on UFoI.. it basically means you get a profile page that links back to your profile so you can add a verified link to show people you are a part of the eUFoI (you are automatically an unregistered member regardless).
See my mastodon profile for a link to my UFoI profile as an example.
@EubieDrew Not much to it...
Go here and add an entry for yourself, make sure you pick a name that is unique but it can be any name you'd like as long as its numbers, letters, and spaces and all lower case.
https://gitlab.com/-/ide/project/ufoi/ufoi-site/edit/master/-/src/components/user-members.json
See trinsec for an example of a user that is not an instance rep nor a council member.. though add your pgp fingerprint if you have one (option).
Once the merge request is approved youll be a registered member, I will active your profile page and you can link to it from your profile and it will get a green verified checkmark like mine.
@EubieDrew create a gitlab account then go to the ufoi group and request access, ill approve.
@EubieDrew wonderful, now just got to the group i linked you in my last message and request access.
Okay, I think I did it right. 😕
I set assignee to me; hope that's right.
@EubieDrew technically the asignee is me, but thats ok it isnt important.
@EubieDrew Ok you now have a profile up... just link to itfrom your profile and youll be good!
@freemo Sorry to be dense, but where do I look?
@EubieDrew yes, though i think you used the wrong capitalization on your profile url which is why it isnt showing a green check mark for you.. ill fix that for you real fast...
@EubieDrew Fixed, you now have a green check mark!
@freemo
Not a member of gitLAB. I am a user of gitHUB. Should I make an individual acct on gitLAB, or join a team, to access gitLAB?
