@torq I went through this just recently.. I was getting severely depressed and couldnt figure out why.
Turns out it was a combination of B12 defiency and D defiency.
I realized it because i spent a day out in the sun and felt suprisingly better.. then when i went on supplements I was cured within a week and it never came back.. it was an issue for months.
Cant hurt to take a supplement and see. I highly recommend throwing in some B12 too just to make sure.
@freemo @torq I would consider supplements on the advice of my doctor for medical reasons. I found https://youtu.be/29v6rNFjlLI useful. That said, I have anemia, so I take iron, Vit D as mentioned, fish oil for heart risk, and a medication. I'm all for supplements medically indicated. Beyond that, expensive pee is expensive.
Yeah, my first step, as it should always be, is going to be to make an appointment with my doctor and get their expert opinion. Beyond that, yeah, I'd lean towards a UV lamp and then supplements.
I'm mostly just baffled that it's taken me this long to make the connection between the two. Felt a little silly for a moment there. Heh. : )>
@freemo @torq
I have D supplements. Living out here in the threat Northwet doesn't provide much sunlight at the best of times. We don't tan, we rust.
I avoid taking lots of supplements as a general principle though. I hear that kind of thing is mostly good for making urine expensive. But I work indoors at a factory all day and my hobby is computer jockey, so "sunlight" is a problem. :(
