@freemo @m1k3 If the logo is still an issue, I had one comment on skanman's previous good work. Love the intersecting globes/circles, I think this really conveys what is going on/the nature of federation. But I think the i in UFOI should be lower case, and the O upper: UFOi. This disambiguates the i from a 1 character, buys into the iPhone/iCarly semiology (this may not be a good thing), and presents UFO as a part of the whole, buying into the whole X-Files.Area 51 thing (this also may not be a good thing).
Personally I'm happy wth the current logo for launch. That said my plan was once a bunch of logos are in and once we have the voting infrastructure up then we will vote to see what logo the community likes best. Seems a nice safe thing to test voting on.
I think this looks visually appealing though logically it breaks my brain on two points...
one.. capitalizing "of" but not "instances" seems weird
two.. the UFO part makes me think of aliens... maybe thats not a bad trhing though... you should add it to the issue on the gitlab where we are collecting logos so it can be including in the vote later
Since this is an issue and not a merge request its as simply as just adding yoru comment in a text box.
@freemo @m1k3 thank you, i will do. i'm still all fingers and thumbs with Gitlab but will attempt to, anyway. Broken brain accepted, just think that anything it triggers will make it more memorable perhaps?
