You want to be taken seriously on an Assault weapon ban you really have to stop playing tbise games. Comes across as bad faith and paints you as uninformed on the subject.
@freemo well, there are different definitions; I mean maybe people really like the way the CA assault rifle ban or the FAWB were written; if so this is a useful shorthand.

I did NOT give a definition of "assault weapon", I provided a link to the definition of "assault rifle". There is no clear definition for "assault weapon", that's the whole point.
