Not surprising, the Cannabis phobia is largely US invention, later imposed on other countries by means of foreign relations and UN… In Nepal I’ve seen 3 m tall Cannabis indica bushes growing right by main roads, in Caucasus - hectares of Cannabis fields in the mountains (but I suspect that’s sativa).
