Not sure what my range-pictures have to do with that? Seems a very odd opening statement.
All those things sound quite concerning. What are the punishments for being gay and teaching a history class? Are they severe (though any punishment is pretty concerning).
@freemo @GeePawHill @agilealliance Are you sealioning or asking someone else to do your research for you? Certainly if you are Trans you can no longer get medical support. If you are a woman who needs an abortion you can't get that. It's a third class felony to use any book that hasn't been approved by the State in your class. You can't answer questions about gender, sexuality or anything like that in class. So are you trolling or merely profoundly ignorant?
I am neither sealioning or asking someone to do my research for me. I am engaging in a respectful discussion. A post was made saying gay/trans cant go there. I asked for why you feel that is the case, that is not sealioning nor asking you or anyone to do research.
I am not trolling, nor "profoundly ignorant", not everyone keeps tabs on the day to day happenings in Florida... but congratulations on being rude to someone who is genuinely curious about your opinion, and having a desire to support you in your concerns. Quite the self-defeating approach you have going there.
You do realize the world is much bigger than the USA... most of us arent in the USA (I only just arrived int he USA a few days ago and have been away for years)...
Great to hear its all over the australian news. That said the places I have been dont speak english, so my access to news is rather limited.
@freemo @GeePawHill @agilealliance Oh, I don't watch the News here.
@freemo @GeePawHill @agilealliance A mix from all over. But usually not watching. They take too long to come to the point.
@freemo @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance it has been in the Dutch newspapers too
@freemo @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance No Internet there?
So I've been looking all day and cant find this law where it is illegal to be gay, let alone any punishments or other details.. Can someone help point me to this law, cause clearly doing my own research isnt working.
@freemo Ah, thank you for your confirmation of my suspicions.
@ariaflame Stop being a toxic asshat, I am sincerely trying to research these issues and learn about it and all your doing is making your side look petty and childish, stop that shit.
I did a search for "law gay illegal florida" and literally cant find a single hit for any law outlawing being gay.... why is it so damn hard to just mention the law so i can research it, and why in the world would asking for the law cause you to react like a ass?
@freemo @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance I looked up all three of those in under a minute. With Google.
Im sure you did, but you knew what the laws were you were looking for. None of these "make being gay illegal" so obviously to someone who has no clue what is being referenced it is effectively impossible to google. I did see these laws when i googled and since they did not fit the description I had assumed they werent what was being referenced.
Obviously I have no objection to if the person wanted to be hyperbolic, but the inaccurate description did make it impossible for me to know what was being referenced or to find it.
@freemo I googled for antigay Florida, antitrans Florida, and antiabortion Florida @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance
Assuming those are the laws the OP meant, then again, thank you for finding them. I was looking perhaps too literally.
I find it a bit funny that the OP will use such a vague and misleading statement and then instead of just mentioning what law they mean complain that i should google it then mock me when I dont find any law that actually matches what he said... Like just use your words to be clear enough so people dont need to guess, its not sealioning to ask "oh what law is that"... there is **no** need for the two days of nonsense when all I needed was an accurate statement of what is being discussed and i could have googled it.
@freemo maybe you’ve been isolating hard, so maybe you’re unaware that you’re pattern of “naive inquiry” is spot on for a trolling pattern. Especially this follow up that you’re doing. @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance
Or ya know, when someone says "hey what law are you refering to" people can just answer and avoid all this toxic nonsense... and you actually manage to help inform people and get the word out, win win.
Attacking someone for daring to ask what someone is referring to is the most self defeating toxic shit imaginable.
@freemo only people living under a rock wouldn’t know about Florida’s growing Nazi-like campaign of hate and blame against marginalized groups @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance
@freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance
Deny, Accuse, Reverse Victim and Offender
You were not attacked, Sir (to use your preferred ‘pronoun’)
@nesmb @freemo @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance thank you
@aardvark "Dr." Freemo often "isolates."
@freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance
Dr. Freemo's Pyrrhonism is among my favorite aspects of his sealioning!
So much fun!
@DoesntExist @freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @agilealliance
Oh shut the fuck up. You seem less likely than Freemo to know what I'm talking about.
Define yourself by what you're in favor of, child, not what you're against.
Thanks for that. Some people are just beyond help and will spew toxicity in every thread like this guy, all while adding nothing of value. The sad part is how they are so counter-productive to their own claimed objectives. Sometimes I wonder if people like this are just russian-paid trolls trying to create fights where none clearly exist othewise.
@GeePawHill @DoesntExist @ariaflame @agilealliance are you replying to me or DoesntExist?
If me, I’d want to clear things up with you.
If the other person, I read it as sarcasm once I’d checked their other posts.
@aardvark @DoesntExist @ariaflame @agilealliance
Fucking multi-thread complication.
Aardvark, Freemo asked a question, and you answered it. It's why *I* dint answer it, cuz I thought you delivered the goods.
I'm sorry if the continuations made it seeme like i was whining.
Far from it.
I was pleased.
@aardvark @DoesntExist @ariaflame @agilealliance
How bout we just kill this thread, and take it up with one another on another day in another context.
@GeePawHill sure! See you in the next thread!
@GeePawHill phew! Good to hear that from you. Freemo wasn’t pleased. Blocked me. Didn’t care for my observation that he’d turned your point about people being persecuted into something about him being persecuted, it seems. I appreciated your call for cancelling the event and eating the cost as a part of standing up for those being oppressed. Thank you.
Again, thank you so much for the links, still reading them but very much appreciated.
@freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance
Here he goes again. Dr. Freemo!
He doesn't understand anything, but he somehow knows the word "asshat."
@freemo What!? No, you are full of it. We went round and round a month or two ago, with you swearing you weren't being rude, just having a polite conversation. Now here you are saying you've been out of the country for years with no access to internet until a few days ago. Sealioning, 100%.
I have had access to internet. My response saying I didnt have internet was a joke, (which I assumed so was the question) since I was obviously answering **on the internet**. Yes I have had internet.
Also anyone could see I have been consistently posting for years, so should have been obvious I was responding jokingly...
@freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance No, I get that you are on the internet *now*. But you were answering questions about where you had been, not where you are now.
the question was asked int he present tense and answered int he present tense. So it is possible, and understandable, I may have misunderstood the question (and this was demonstrated with my answer).
@freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance The question was asked with no tense at all: "No internet there?"
regardless my answer was in the present tense "I dont have access to the internet" which clearly was being stated while I have access to the internet (thus the joke).
@freemo @aardvark @ariaflame @GeePawHill @agilealliance Your answer in the present tense looked like a mistake, not a joke. You might try using a /s if you're going to be sarcastic, particularly given your communication style.
Thats fair, obviously anything I can do to improve clarity is a good thing.
@freemo @GeePawHill @agilealliance I do. I live in Australia and I've managed to keep up.
