@freemo The stock trigger gives me anxiety with the length of the squeeze. It takes a magazine for me to get used to it again.
If you want to get weird, try a full size Hi-Point and see what you can do with it. The results might surprise you. The trigger sucks (feels like a piezoelectric igniter) and grabbing it with two hands can make the magazine drop because of the release button location. The recoil has weird characteristics too.
Just don't fall in love, she can only take a single stack. Also don't keep it near a cordless drill. Perhaps I have almost drilled the wrong size hole but caught myself when the cordless drill felt less ergonomic than usual.
@AmpBenzScientist Kimber rapide dawn is probably the nicest 1911 out there (at 1600$ I hope so :)).
Isnt a double-stack 1911 a 2011?
@freemo The 2011 is a pistol. I don't have experience with them but I haven't heard much about them that was positive.
