I have an idea... lets make all health insurance free but also make sure every hospital has one of these elevators installed... That way only the smart people, which by USA standards are the only ones worth saving, can actually get to the doctors office.

@freemo What the hell is that one on about?! I think even the doctors would die here.

@trinsec I have no fricking clue... Pretty sure this is a psych hospital though :)

@freemo Ours do it simpler by using a keypad instead of having to learn arcane quantum physics.

@freemo Keypad, dear, not keyboard.

But no, but in order to leave the hallway where said elevator is in, you'd need to type in a code on those keypads on certain floors (the bottom ones usually). A bit easier that way. It was a home for dementing elderly in this case. Works pretty well.

@trinsec Too complicated. We just leave our elderly to die, much easier and cost effective.

@freemo You will have to with your medical care costs.

@freemo
Peak NHS. I’ve always been amused that the NHS hospitals in my local area are bedecked with ‘helpful’ self-designed & printed A4 ‘notices’. Recently, I had regular visits to a new but partially operational hospital. Alongside every architects’ carefully designed and placed sign was a ‘helpful’ ad-hoc signs that, typically, made no sense whatsoever but did impart the frustrations of the first deployed staff.
