Am i the only one who instantly passes a resteraunt by if they advertise a gluten free menu? Like is literally the healthiest part!

@freemo

I won't do business with a restaurant if they serve wings with ranch, even if I don't get the wings.

Same with the gluten free business and if they're aggressive with any vegan or vegetarian marketing.

If your coffee sucks, and I always get coffee no matter the time of day so I'll find out, I may look you over in the future for a place that has better coffee.

@kilroy_was_here

I dont mind if there are gluten free alternatives, so long as there are gluten ones too. Im talking about resteraunts that advertise as entierly gluten free, or if core items are only gf (like all bread)

@freemo I know and I agree. Gluten free bread tastes like styrofoam

@freemo debatable, a lot of people think this is not really good for guts, but also other think it's more related to Monsento's pesticide, not sure that exactly scientific approach but people saying that eating gluten food in Europe is ok and as soon as they move to NA it starts to give celiac like symptomes

but no, don't care if they advertise gluten free, rare people who suffer from gluten should be able to eat too in fancy diners

@AncientGood btw i am fine with non gluten options for people who truly are alergic... i just wont eat at at a place that has crappy food because a very small number of people might be allergic. So menus that are exclusively gf or make core items like bread in only gf varieties i wont do

@freemo oh yeah, selling it as refuge for health conscious people is weird

what I will ignore 100%, speaking restaurant wise is halal meat, killing this way is so much more extra suffering for an animal in last minutes of its shitty life

@AncientGood i mean for the bulk of cows their whole life is pretty shitty.

@freemo ha I like to eat seitan, which is basically straight gluten. When the health fad started I was very confused considering it's something I actively sought out.

@khird seitan by itself is nothing special.. but when made right it can be quite tasty.. I enjoy it too...

Anytim eim at a table and says "Can you prepare that gluten free" I usually respond "Whatever gluten you take from their dish you can just put in mine " :)
