Haha, those f*cking stupid banks.

I got my salary send to OCBC, a Singapore bank. They have no issues on processing my money. Then I want to transfer part of it to Chinese bank for my daily living.

The OCBC said the transfer is successful. But ICBC didn't put the money into my account. So I asked ICBC's customer support. And here is the hilarious thing, which I'm so angry that I don't even feel angry, just feel very amusing.

To start off, there is a thing called "leave in lieu". April 4th to 6th is QingMing festival (or you can call it "Tomb-Sweeping Day"). The issue is: Only the April 4th is QingMing, 5th is friday and you should work. But the government want to setup a 3 day holiday, so they arranged holiday from 4th to 6th, then you work on 7th (Sunday). April 6th is Saturday, and you work on Sunday to compensate Friday.

Then let's talk about the bank, ICBC. I asked why I didn't get the money, the customer servicer said they don't know. I give them the reference number of that SWIFT transfer, but they said they can't query for me. I have to ask the local branch. So I asked the local branch. The branch said they're not working on public holidays. So I asked what about Sunday. They said Sunday is also a day off, since it's a international weekend. They need to work on Sunday, but they can't process the transfer on Sunday. I have to wait on Monday.

WTF

In my humble opinion, if you want to follow the international holidays, then you should work on Friday. Or if you want to follow the Chinese holidays, then process my f*ucking transfer on Sunday.

You can't take both holidays and just told me to wait. It's stupid.
