I just finished my last commission and I'm currently without a job.
I'm not strapped for cash, but having an income would be nice.
A company here in Rome wants to hire me for a job I'm not interested in: I've been working in the field for over 5 years and I'm now an expert.
I'm now trying to change my professional fields, but this offer is really enticing since I would get a reliable income (something I never had) for a job I can easily do.
I'm a bit unsure about accepting the offer, mainly because I don't want to be a dick to them: I'll keep searching jobs even though I'll start working there and I doubt I will be staying there for more than 2-3 months.
This might create some problems to those guys and I wouldn't be happy about it
On the other hand, I would get 2-3 months of salary, which wouldn't be bad at all since right now I'm burning through my savings.
A Different Rat Race...? Developing something of a different kind of cycle of Consumption or Education...

Something more rewarding than company-driven-gov-regulated templates.
I'm better at talking than typing so suggestion conversing properly.
Basically talking directly about this and something toward more-relativity with people and *practising* it directly. Tons of ideas to massage ( some here:

but yes we expect it needs a bit of will and talking around everything and bring 1 thing together - something rewarding too 'for humanity' or steps they can do while we do also.
Since you're quite comfortable financially (@rastinza / others too) I suggest thinking away from Rat Race to explore for a bit more than existing templates as the main way as that has limitations naturally.
Something rewarding (in the many ideas of this word). I'm sure we can find some ideas with a bit of will but need a 'new' way of thinking and going about it. Perhaps this needs a bit of trust to get into seeing what I mean... and then with you help levelling it up without the typical damage from doing things the prescribed way ...
