A while back I gave this talk on how to contribute to open source: ganssle.io/talks/#contributing

Video: youtu.be/JhPC6_rO08s

I cannot possibly be the best speaker to give some version of this talk — does anyone have a good “canonical” version of this?

@freeschool Is this something that is automatically generated? I might include non-YT links to my talks on ganssle.io/talks if I can reliably find them.

@pganssle, Invidious is an YouTube proxy like how Nitter is to Twitter. I have no opinion on which link to prefer though, I’d watch it via mpv anyway. I’ll be really grateful on the other hand if you can upload your (past and/or future) talks to PeerTube, where such videos are still kinda rare. Cc: @freeschool

@cnx @freeschool Any specific instance that you think is more likely than others to last?

I don't mind the ones mentioned here BUT before you start if you have your own webspace, then you could consider your own option even as a test. How many vids and bit do you think you have?

Just putting it all in 1 directory online sorted in folder could be another way and fast / easier to manage. Perhaps even more eco-friendly than streaming too and making things about mixed media downloads... the notes, pics with it etc. Haven't look at your stuff Paul to analyse it a bit but feel free to say / lay out what you have for others...

I'm not sure about PeerTube as a whole for educational material.
