@freeschool Yewtu.be is just one of the many Invidious instances.
There are other servers too : https://docs.invidious.io/Invidious-Instances/
Invidious is also open source that can be self hosted.

If you're talking about the last link, then just try shortening the link
@Acer @praveenkumar about YouTube
--> I would also start to use youtube less ---> this isn't the whole solution but also to think how we couldn't always use it
- for example I have access but some days I use it 0 times or pretend I can't. Also because it's Google
- I use it like I'm *spending* money or processor power
- I also imagine Invidious isn't the answer either in the gradual de-spending of energy
try 'weaker' less maniac entities like framasoft's PeerTube
https://sepiasearch.org/
(which I also think is still energy intensive but not the crazy all-you-can-eat type)
- Let me know your usage privately and I can think about it more but streaming things is unrealistic luxury (like having more light by burning a candle at both ends for a shorter time)
@Acer @freeschool Simplest way I could think of is to use a VPN service. You can also setup your own using tools like PiVPN on a cloud instance from Linode, DigitalOcean or Vultr for privacy reasons.
@Acer @praveenkumar
Try more servers using this kind of link (maybe you know already)
http://redirect.invidious.io/watch?v=Ht56t_UMwsc
change Video ID (Ht56t_UMwsc)
to whatever you want
Advantages that might work for you:
-- there are many new servers (you only need 1 or two)
-- they are spread in all geographic regions
-- with obscure names/URLs...
@freeschool @praveenkumar
youtube has been blocked in China.
I tried some invidious instances. They are also blocked.
I am looking for useable services for accessing youtube videos from China.
