(I'll also include what I wrote below because I already wrote it! But consider it optional to read)

I think it can also be assumed that something named can become suddenly an object or objectified; either static or owned or impersonal or as possession like extension of someone or some people... when it's really also part of many other things.

Would this be similar to what you meant?

(I assume you mean that things are made from many other things and naming them can stop them / us seeing the continuity and variability that makes them interesting.)
