@fury999io Auto-deletion of posts could be used possibly for:
1/ "on-the-fly" method of sorting and organising - not the "I'll do it years later" method :)
So keeping what is really needed (not the other way around of "Keep everything and 3/4 becomes used / old text that isn't needed to be ever used). Or nearer nothing.
2/ #Privacy / reducing future exploitation or risk
3/ To reduce ecological footprint (can be a lot sometimes or multiply 1 post to XXX users and XXX servers = A LOT of disk or screen space !!
Faster / smaller backups too.
4/ Temporal Feeling - A feeling of cleanliness or focussed usage, not leaving stuff lying around too much. A mental thing but also can be practical relative to more than one of previous points... Aesthetics for what is shown on the profile.
5/ Being in the moment - keeping it in the now even if it can be used to leave topics and traces - more in the now. Encourages less hoarding or looking back.
