Neo (the name) means itself as noun (or adjective) something similar to:

I missed that all this time or at least not as consciously remember linking Neo name to actually knowing he is the 6th or 7th generation / iteration that is coming through The Matrix and also allowed by Matrix to keep Zion as supply of people going! (I think I got this part right am re-reading now!!!)
