@vic @levisan vic I think I could challenge well enough based on the sentence almost all being subjective to your opinion or mine... but if we could agree what a strong society is (for example if you mean by army measurement or socio-cultural experience level, then immediately we could get on the right track... ish !)

For a small example - If you European cultures that have never stepped out of their country, never traveled aside from next door countries who speak similar, then you could say their cultural experiences are LOW and therefore world knowledge to some degree LOW and they are STUPID (Low experience) to some level also... so some people think American, Britain, France etc are still the best places to go to even though no nothing about it, barely even from their own TV which has only recently got the same cable channels and Hollywood stuff perhaps...

Anyway Monolingual I'd say is mono-experiences... and although mixed cultures are confused THAT'S NATURAL and a long time coming since the more primal mono-dominant war-like captures of population who might have false sense of pride (again not knowing he dirty under all countries which didn't stop at WW1 or WW2 and still goes on in softer-economic warefare)....

In long run I'd go for mixed-confused cultural people to get to the "intelligence" stage rather than walled garden and false thinking of being safe...

For example USA has 800 bases all over the world (!) so even if you try mono, you get flanked or surrounded by USA or whatever capitalism... and people in other countries can't escape and need to do something better than existing ways if they base their economy on dollar or debt-dollar.... I mean I think I've one this one if going for active defense eventually... but shelling up like turtles, that's half of Europe waiting to be changed or bought or US companies to buy and supply employment or new line of tractors you can't even repair yourself... any one of these tech and infiltrating things BYPASS what you think of as 'invaders' as you're right physically surely that's clear, but free apps and Hollywood films filtering down to you're children, eroding what culture you had is not resilient unless parents are actively aware of US patterns and general colonial type things continuing into there home space- and should be a daily thing else done for as they are way behind now (we can all judge based on our parents just working 9-5 or 9-9 instead of all the above).

There's my take on it - now I'm happy to see yours - even without big reaction - about how you're going to last all the above consider WE ALREADY SEE IT HAPPENING AND HAPPENED (in caps to suggest this is more evidence we can all vouch for being de-cultured, mono-sterilised, Americanised or whatever else than "working together for our own futures" <---- lol a bit
