Too much 'me me me' talk here, now. This instance looks more and more like the early twitter.
#notpopular #oppinion (but who cares?)
@mc Developing people, not just #STEM ?
In general the intelligence of people (emotional intelligence, not just #maths etc) is rather low, don't you think (referring to your comment you mentioned about this server or other servers).
A lot of #clever people around but not with #emotionalintelligence necessarily or able to see working with imperfection and incrementing that (towards #perfection) is the best way with #imperfect #emotional human beings.
In short developing people, not just STEM ?
Intelligence in this context is measured working together and developing others?,,,
@mc Seems about right what you said... and I was going to ask how intelligence might look in today's world...
Maybe creating something big but even with that seems what clever people lack as character or training in their personality so even those super-programmers etc can't see to involve people who are medium-intelligence or middle-grounds of people / diversity). And so this maybe widens the gap like a people without apprenticeship or apprentices... (electrician teaching a new electrician or even grandparents in the day passing on knowledge).
So I agree. And I'm not sure what would be intelligence without actually working together as that meaning (what do you think of that)...
I can imagine a revolutionary 'new' thing made by people but it would just be wasted intelligence or wasted tool or new toy / new tech code thing we don't really need more than the human stuff... and like the rest happening now the good is just used against ourselves or to distract us eventually...
And this is almost shown by #Mastodon which might still have a big chance if people really make #living / practicing #intelligence or what they truly love and liek together while seeing need to incorporate that mass of affinity or friendships (and both sometimes).... Hope that makes sense... The last lines should be clear.
It seems it's a #human thing, always #fighting to kill an enemy together (#wars keep us productive and busy) and then end up fighting each other when that's done or as separate states/countries. Just never enough...
Even though I do think 'switching' the brain totally to what we love and like can keep us focused and less out of trouble for everyone so enough things are made with love / care etc, rather than diss / throw stones at things / hate everything... like even #Trump and all these leaders people hate (hundred on those #Musk #Bezos #GAFAM #Mata hashtags... but what of building their own group or schools of thought for themselves to work and own culture.... besides hating... Hm!
Well this is my effort
#FreeSchool is my hashtag for my version of 'follow and believe in me'. I think people can be allowed to do most things... and it is measurable but developing on Tech and not people isn't enough at all...
What do you think?
Intelligence in this context is measured working together and developing others?,,,
@mc I did ask what you think... but no reply from you on that? (basically the title of this post and what we can work towards)
Does 'bust' mean you don't have a lot of time or broke (money?)
I'm using my life towards the title, working together and developing others - as I don't see another way that develops people (and not just tech). So doesn't have to be you part of that participating but at least this explains a bit why,
Almost no idea why you mention education system or finland related to doing it ourselves / helping each other more directly / not staying isolated and #compartmentalised etc.
Intelligence in this context is measured working together and developing others?,,,
@freeschool
I don't quite understand why you chose me as an interlocutor. I do not come here often and I'm bust most of my time.
In most European countries education is free of charge, at least to upper secondary.
Many inside the education system in Europe consider the Finnish model one of the best.
Perhaps you would like to know more about it.
