@Mastodon going to be entirely honest here: not a huge fan of these posts. mastodon is doing a pretty good job at moderating (better than most other social platforms) but you can’t say *NO* mobs. that’s just not true. you could say “a lower percentage of mobs compared to other social networks” or “virtually no mobs” or something like that, but I’m not a huge fan of the lying

@GroupNebula563 @Mastodon Yeah ngl, these posts come across as very "corporate marketing". If there are people, there is also potential for mobs.

@bloodaxe @Mastodon yep. not a huge fan of the super corporate marketing posts. might wanna tone it down a bit there. in their defense the people doing the marketing probably are entirely different from the people actually developing the software and have no idea what their demographic is really

@GroupNebula563 @bloodaxe thank you for this feedback. We are a small team and very aware of the trade-offs between existing audience, new audience, and also the need to broaden our base of donations.

Don't forget me and the rest of us - socially... not just financially... Social development needed as part of Mastodon...

Dear Mastodon and Everyone here - my thoughts that have been the same for too long now...

We the human people are looking for Human Social Groups (Relationships) not just Technology.

We had / have Technology - almost too much now.

So we need to develop socially more... with whatever we have (, , , etc) and even not over do it in existing areas.

Please develop not just tech (at the same time) and level up in this department else we stagnate as a bit better Twitter user. nly ways also plays into the hands of others a lot more and doesn't really enable us (doesn't mean I don't value etc but even that has been done mostly and people need to defend / develop other terms of thinking / logic)...

Individually and as groups we need people in Mastodon and all those humanly responsible to branch out from mostly Tech to mostly People-orientated things to really grow healthier thought and activity. Not just hashtag reactions about or waiting for the next to fill Mastodon with... there's a whole other side much more positively-growing that is possible... 🌱 🧠

A bit more than random individual users...

Not enough just to have just Mastodon when people don't know how to socialise and leave them to it (it's evident if you've tried to make friends / do anything here), To develop trust even from afar is possible in groups (which can be measurable and not just pure risk and even mitigates any badness or helps develop better thoughts over time),

For too long (and previous types of the same messaging) doesn't do the work of 'teaching' (to any level) the of people up (it needs others and CANNOT be done alone) which is possible from afar and eventually as stronger / more flexible / more measured people even if it's not all-in or claiming to be your better-parent...

Tech people do mostly Tech... that is also not enough. We need to input and balance more individual and measured people and progress at the same time as all this, else we delay the real progress of Humanity (even without Mastodon or us assuming we have to Teach the world)...

Something like a better gathering of minds, filtering those able and allowing those lower in understanding to see better examples of people. A bit like a does welcoming all and keeping a healthy eye too together...

It's not enough as progress to have defensive Tech, and after we have a certain level of communications online, we need the mind merging / aligning a bit more to excel a bit more or simply see our choices better, else have the same stagnated problems with not just or but the smaller mentalities of the same, our friends locally, the Tech-only people, our family or families that don't talk.

I appreciate the @Mastodon user replying and frankly I don't need to know who it is replying or if it's just another volunteer- because it's the ability to reply and move on just from 'donations' asking on each site to fostering / serving / participating real conversation points (and even that too will get more donations and respect that way eventually).

I mentioned to many like and many sites, and if this is going to be a social movement (your or mine) once tech gets to a certain level that enables us then we have to move on to Socially Moving moer together... as a daily driver. monthly, whatever... let the users drive it...

Mostly Mastodon / it's users fall into just driving too-easy / short-depth stuff...
➡️ reactions
➡️ / animal pics
➡️ /
➡️ many things but not developing more-deliberate social type things even if these can be consider part of it

- clearly not enough for real progress and helping each other since we have a decent pool of people - currently unused as I see it or just spectating life going by and even staying in victim-mode (which is fine but aiming to break free from only that 1-way mode)

Converting people's thoughts from negativity / fear / bad news into a better sports towards / and a-bit-deeper is key.

Do you feel me on these points?

I'd love to here more about this not just tech and donations (everything else also)... and even pioneer it a bit more for it to be seen as a more measurable social action / development / togetherness of the people and not just tech / finance (which eventually is even though I didn't want to use this word but S3 back-ends etc even for Mastodon and upgrading servers ISN'T the whole answer).

Thanks for some points back...

(and for example a more dedicated team as an answer to develop things / people / harness / release / participation / etc - I could literally run it / have time for it even with a bit of Mastodon contact / support to show the measurements in social development.

Don't forget me and the rest of us - socially... 💜
