Twitter just banned all 3rd-party social links, including Facebook and Instagram? In China, people used to say that this kind of anti-competitive practices found on WeChat and other domestic platforms is a mafia tactic with Chinese characteristics... Not anymore. Who could've seen that coming? The Web as we knew it has ended. The 2020s really is the post-Internet era.

Virginia theological seminary 的Ashurnasirpal II浮雕。Nimrud (Kalhu, biblical Calah) 建于中亚述时期，在公元前九世纪成为新亚述帝国的首都，Ashurnasirpal 在此建造了宏伟的宫殿，是当时世界上最大的城市。城市在前七世纪随着亚述帝国的灭亡而毁灭。19世纪中叶英国考古队对Nimrud 进行第一次挖掘，这块宫殿墙上的浮雕即于此时获得。20世纪中叶Agatha Christie的丈夫在此主导第二次挖掘。2015年ISIS用推土机彻底摧毁Nimrud遗址，这些散落在西方各大博物馆里的浮雕和塑像便成了新亚述辉煌首都在世界上唯一的印记。
神学院原本购得三块浮雕，其中一块2018年于佳士得出售，为神学院的二百周年奖学金提供资金。目前在神学院中展出的是剩下两块成对的浮雕原件，以及售出那块的复制品。浮雕位于bicentennial hall, 神学院在DC郊区，工作日对公众开放（窝怀疑周末可能也开放，因为根本无人看管，本校学生也不知道浮雕在哪（。
这次尝试阅读铭文，比一个月前多认出了几个符号，不过囿于窝垃圾的词汇量，还是没什么长进。第一行大概是
