Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge. --Carl Sagan

I do not fear computers. I fear the lack of them. -Isaac Asimov

In recent decades, the amount of information that can reasonably be included in the curriculum has expanded, and the rate at which information is generated is making it impossible that teachers can cover the content they should.

Some things “everyone knows” turn out not to be true after all.

If you can’t describe what’s wrong with your data, I will be very cautious about believing you.

When learning is assumed to be the transfer of information, we approach students minds as passive, and passive minds do not learn.

If you teach followiung the assumption that learners who can recall and restate information are also able to transfer that knowledge to other situations, you are wrong.
