Problem solutions exist in spaces... some are good, some are great... others are just crummy for almost everyone affected. Leaders like the crummy ones... they really like them... like to the exclusion of all others.

Folks who cannot handle uncertainty really annoy me.

If your solution was "simple, just do this," then it is likely a solution only for you.

If its easy to measure, it probably is unimportant.

Skills (like critical thinking) are domain specific-- you can be among the best in one and just as bad as the rest of us in the others.

All those things that are problems... just address them head on and they go away... well... some do... take care my friends.

Narcissist and bullies... when I was younger, I challenged them... now I just dismiss them... which angers them even more.

Judge things before you understand them...., that's a sure way to alienate folks you need.

Too many education leaders are happy to have incompetent folks on their team.

I didn’t recognize any of the performers in the half-time show. What does that say about me? Their target audience?

“We need to do this…” is often said by leaders who have no idea what’s happening in the organization.

There are many who’d have no evidence if they didn’t cherry pick the data.

Those skills that make one successful in school (say solving math problems quickly) are often useless in adult life (say solving unsolved math problems).
