One thing I learned during 35 years in education: Folks react to language more than they do actions. We got push back on having advisories in middle school, so we called them homeroom and continued doing the same thing. Folks were content.

The worse part of working in is that folks expect there is a magic wand that will create the solution they envision instantly.

Data that is collected in uncontrolled (or at least undescribed) settings is not reliable ... not are conclusions based on it.
