On thing I learned during 35 years in education: The leaders matter... a lot.I have been very content and productive in schools when leadership changed and within weeks was discintnet, unproductive, and looking for my next job.

The superintendent is taking t a trip to hear about an innovative new strategy in a different school... little do they know there are teachers doing it in their school right now.
