Information technology is an interesting aspect of logistics in most organizations. It cannot be used to achieve any goals unless it is used to accomplish the essential functions of the organization, it is functioning, and it is sustainable. In most organizations, this requires three types of expertise to ensure the technology is appropriately used, properly configured, and reasonably supported.
