Remember, vendors don’t market to those who are critical users of IT and service. They market to those who control the money and who can check off problems they solved. “We addressed that problem by working with...” is a very comfortable and familiar position

No, Zoom is not a great way to lecture at a distance... Google Meet? No not that either... no it has nothing to do with Zoom or Meet... it has everything to do with telling students the curriculum.

It so obvious when leaders don’t understand math.

“As you can see in this graph....” No. No we can't. It is a poorly designed graph.

Editing closed captions makes one question the construct of sentences.

“Erratic behavior is the norm... “ does not put us in a good light.

“He was rational enough....” these are prescient words... especially when applied to leaders.

Is that any different from that album you bought from a favorite artist that was terrible? (You must be a certain age to understand this, and perhaps a fan of Warren Zevon when Mutineer was released.)

I realized yesterday that my “I’m unimpressed” face on video conferences is passive aggressive... but it gets the point across to those encouraging me to adopt their unimpressive product or silly strategy.
