One things I learned as an #edtech professional: Those who complain their students don't read the syllabus are the some ones who don't read the step-by-step guides we make.
I recently found this sentence from a paper I wrote in 2011:
In first elucidating technology acceptance model (TAM), Davis observed that information and computer technology “offers the potential for substantially improving white collar performance,” but that “gains are often obstructed by users’ unwillingness to accept and use available systems” (Davis 1989, p. 319).
Davis' observtion is still accurate.
