I could get upset students email me to ask extensions when my syllabus clearly indicate I so accept work, but I usually respond to the email with my saves template the says, "Yes, but as it say in the syllabus, I may not be able to give feedback in time for you to resubmit. I look forward to seeing your work."

Many times I have sat in interviews with school administrators to fill technology positions (both interviewing with them and being interviewed by them) and come to the harsh realization they have no idea what the questions or answers are about.

Sometimes it is not you message we are rejecting, it is the snotty attitude with which you deliver it.

Few events were more interesting to me an an educator than watching a kindergarten students present her project on cats to the local college president.... just after hearing a teacher tell me kindergarten students can't do independent projects.

What to see the real purpose of a technology? Give it to users and get out of the way.

Let's normalize cutting the microphone of those in the "I have more of a comment than a question" crowd.

Attempts to control for variables in classrooms is not possible. Unfortunately, we act as if we can.

If students judge your ideas are not an improvement on theirs, students wil ignore them.

Conceptual understanding. Let's teach for it.

Any idea can be plausible, but that doesn't mean its true.
