Your “steam of consciousness” presentation is likely worse than you prepared talk.

“Lecturing is really just making noise.” This is an Interesting, and maybe not inaccurate, interpretation.

Someone somewhere needs to read this before you attend conference this fall: Your rambling reflection on the keynote is not a question... we know it got you thinking.. and your mind is swimming... please avoid grabbing the microphone to prove you have incomplete (but energizing) thoughts. We believe you.

What changed your mind about students?

Yeah... those “trends in the data” you are touting or bemoaning are probably just regression to the mean.

If your primary role is to prevent problems from reaching your boss, you are not “part of the team."

All generalizations (including those that are contradictory) are always accurate for a minority sub-population.

If you think every teaching problem can be solved with one tool, you don’t understand teaching.

Yeah... have your corporate trainers be prepared to answer questions about tracking and privacy... even a "corporate line" response is better than struggling to answer.

Just because you experienced it in school, does not mean every one did... or should.

Yeah... if you attend the "advanced" training, please avoid asking the presenter to show how to do "stuff" done in the "basic" training.

“Reason as if your knowledge is incomplete and potentially flawed” is a good rule for AI… and humans too.

If you are a teacher who asks "why were you late," you need to resign. If you are an administrator who observers it, you must call the teacher out... yes... in front of students.

Is delivering content and tracking views (which any worthy LMS can do well) teaching?

You don’t get #students to understand ideas by learning definitions of more terms.
