Have you got any games that you didn’t pay a lot for but are now rather valuable? I don’t have many, I think this is it.

@gpowerf Hmm, for me its probably a DS version of Chrono Trigger - purchased it a few years ago, probably for around 10 pounds, and today it sells for over 50.

@Englebert3rd I bought it second-hand for almost nothing when it was relatively new. I was a dummy and I threw out the outer cardboard box... because in my mind it was just rubbish.

@gpowerf yup, I also have Panzer Dragoon Saga. I bought it from a second hand shop for £30 with a Japanese white analog controller. This was a long time ago though! Also: Burning Rangers, can't remember how much I paid for that one, but definitely not much at all

@dmk Oh! Is Burning Rangers valuable? I have that too!

@gpowerf not to the level of PDS I think, but it's up there. I think quite a lot of Saturn games are pricey now.

Can't find any photos of them, and don't have it to hand right now. Here's it being played on my little Trinitron though 🙂

@gpowerf First thing that came to my mind. I also got some hardware for cheap, like two CD-i's and a Hori Gamecube Pad.

@gpowerf I bought a GBA SP (179€) and it came with Pokemon Ruby, which alone goes around $278 these days according to PriceCharting.com So, technically free game is now quite valuable, does that count?

@gpowerf I bought my copy of Haunting Ground on PS2 for 15 bucks brand new back then, when I saw it went for crazy prices recently I was so shocked!

@gpowerf I got PDS and SF3 as birthday presents from my sister and brother respectively. Still have them but looking to part with them for home improvements D:

@gpowerf
I bought a ps1 console about one or two years after release. Bought loads of mainly second hand games, & some job lots cheap. Crazy prices sought on ebay now for lots of them. Got 2 copies of Castlevania SOTN with art books, Tomba 1 & 2, Suikoden & many more. Should reconnect my ps1 and replay them. Got years of PlayStation Magazines that are still good to read and came with demo discs. Loved the demo discs.
