I saved my boss from boarding a hijacked flight on 9/11. You won't believe what he did next

@arstechnica The little SE is still there, it's the most conveniently sized iPhone and quite affordable but with a really horrible battery life sadly. Still, between bad battery life or having to carry a two-handed tablet I am choosing the bad battery life.

@raikas @gamingonlinux I was going to ask the same thing, that’s a Bankruptcy Attack.

@gamingonlinux What prevents someone just spamming a lot of install requests and racking up a bill for the developer?

@gamingonlinux that’s insane! I don’t do it often, but if I have any issues with a game I’ll explore different Proton versions. 😱 this model is moronic.

@amoroso true. All the code written for my PhD work is long long gone... Not that it was very valuable, but it is gone anyway.

It's hard to preserve classic videogames as a lot of this software is lost. But it's even harder for the code of most academic and research projects, which achieved no more than niche and limited distribution in the first place and whose servers and repositories are long gone.

@CodingItWrong I use it to congratulate people when they do something cool. Imagine if someone posts a really nice-looking spin ice skating I might reply with 💪 meaning "Yeah! You aced it!".

Or if they post about their success losing weight too.

Anything that merits a congratulation on their effort.

@mikemathia do you know what a Kawasaki Barako? It's a small motorcycle that's designed to have a side car attached and is sold in the Philippines. It's used as a bike, with a side car for passengers, to carry farm animals, to carry produce like coconut, etc... Essentially a cheap pickup.

There's also something called a Bajaj Cargo, which is a rickshaw type vehicle with a pickup bed.

Lastly there are cargo tricycles and these can even had dump beds on hydraulics. My brother-in-law's company uses them to deliver small construction materials short distances, for when using a big Isuzu truck would be too much.

All of these are built for work, and are super affordable. Most full size pickups are built for luxury to act as family vehicles.

Today's #retrogaming on the #ZXSpectrum #DownToEarth , yes it is a #BoulderDash game , but we are creating an interstellar by-pass and have to clear planets, so it almost has a Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy connection...almost..It's tricky and colourful! #zxretweets

is super satisfying when a team really works together! This randomly assigned bunch felt connected, we felt in sync, we knew what everyone was up to and collaborated perfectly even though comms were off :)

Also, being the sole controller player in the world for this game makes me feel special 😂
