Well, it's a good thing I spent the afternoon splitting wood. We are getting 6 to 12 inches of snow tomorrow with more this next weekend. And no warm days to split more. I have about 20 banana boxes of firewood in the shed if I run low. And 11 boxes in the house. That's a week worth.

That's what I started the season with. Two tiers. I stacked the second so high you can't see the first one. It's only 6 feet high.

@TheOldGuy Wow, you can get away with an outdoor wood furnace?

@TheOldGuy I find that 10 ft snow drifts have an effect on them....

@hasmis Luckily we don't get those. They were worrying on the news about snowdrifts from one foot of snow.

@hasmis I am not using mine right now. It has a section where it's that flexible ducting. This old half blind skunk has made his bed on top of it.

@hasmis when the weather is warmer I will run him out with some bright lights and a string of firecrackers. I bought some rigid ducting to replace it with. Meanwhile I have the woodstove.
