I'm currently living in Greece. Most Greeks, along with most other Europeans think that Britain has lost the plot completely. It's almost impossible to overestimate the reputational damage being done to the country by the self-serving ambitions and cowardice of the majority of its elected representatives.

At least Ziggy Stardust had five years to save the world. MPs have only fifty days (or thereabouts) to press the government to either revoke Article 50 or make proper provision for a second referendum.
