@hasmis We might get get a heck of a season here in SE Wisconsin. Perfect temps for the first half of Feb and we may be a bit cool to normal into April. I better get to splitting more wood...

@jerzone Where I grew up in Western WI, there were few pickup trucks with plows on them. If it wasn't a town plow truck or grader with a huge V on the front, it was a farmer's tractor with a plow. :) Sometimes it was a team effort to get our road to the highway clear.

@jerzone I think the use of road salt is crazy excessive. I wonder if it would be cheaper to give everyone a tax credit for snow tires and just make it required to run them. Plow, some sand in the corners...call it good. But, people expect to drive 90mph all the time and heaven forbid they slow down for anything.

A few weeks back we got a new king bed. Didn't like any headboards anywhere. My wife liked the style of an ash sofa table I built recently, so I took the same approach building this headboard. Long top and bottom pieces are ash, the rest is red oak....all from our land. Did every step of the process from timber to finished piece. Stain is General Finishes Antique Cherry, matching all our other bedroom furniture. #woodworking

@majesty Yeah, RO ran overnight. 4x400gpd setup. Small, but effective. When it's time to replace the membranes ill make it 5x500. Best part of my process. Total lifesaver.
@davepolaschek Yeah, lots of work is right, but so worth it. And, the process is just plain fun.
