I wish more people discussed what an independent Scotland would look like. For me, I'd like to rejoin the EU and see more people come to live and work here. Next I want land and property ownership to be changed. Let's get rid of the blight of second home ownership. Same for foreign ownership of vast tracts of land used for the benefit of a tiny minority. What about a rejection of foreign press and political parties in Scotland. These are all normal choices made by independent nations.

Las competiciones internacionales las organizan países (a través de federaciones o lo que sea).
En el caso de Ucrania, uno de los países miembros había sido agredido por otro.
En el caso de Gaza, no es que no fueran miembros, es que ni siquiera estaban reconocidos como país.
En temas internacionales, se da mucha importancia a estas cosas. Si es interno, se pasa de todo, pero no le pises lo fregao al de al lado.
De ahí la importancia de reconocer a Palestina como país.
Y de ahí lo absurdo de pedir apoyo para la independencia de cualquier región de Europa a la UE. Ni en broma lo van a hacer.
Suma a eso que Ucrania es frontera con la UE y cualquiera sabe si pararán ahí. Israel lo peor que puede hacer después es invadir Egipto, Líbano, Irak o algo así. Ya, ya sé que no será por falta de ganas.
Además, Israel es la que tiene el grifo del ciberespionaje: si te lo cierran, los demás te pueden espiar a placer, pero tú no puedes espiarles. Y también de varias armas.
Suma también el complejo de culpa por lo del nazismo; aunque eso, visto cómo se han puesto, empieza a ser irrelevante.
Añade a la ultraderecha, que en muchos casos adora a Netanyahu, en parte por afinidad y en parte por islamofobia.
Y sí, también hay doble rasero. Pero no es lo único.

One of the things I spend a LOT of time on is committee work for the American Astronomical Society. Today's task was gathering up notes from lots of other members of that committee and turning it into an official FCC response.
This one is because the FCC now says that satellites are not subject to environmental review because they are completely outside the territory of the United States, and thus do not affect the environment.
Fortunately, that's stunningly easy to argue against! My refs:

Si queréis parar la carrera, poneos en la carretera solo antes los coches de la organización, pero no entre los coches y los ciclistas. Van muy rápido y tienen poco margen de frenado (los de delante te ven, los de detrás en el pelotón no). En la contrareloj, solo hay un minuto entre corredores, y los corredores suelen ir mirando el suelo y no hacia delante.

No tengo la menor duda de que si ni Bildu ni sus votantes existieran hubiera pasado lo mismo.
