Este es el estado de la cuestión.
Me han denegado el ingreso mínimo vital y el bono social. No tengo más ingresos que los de la academia (quitando desplazamientos unos 80 euros o así los meses buenos) y el kofi.
Y no hay trabajo para gente de mi edad.
Así que, aunque no tengo ningún animo ni ganas ni ilusión ni nada, voy a seguir con el cómic en kofi.

* Getting staff fired
* Stealing journalist, book authors, or artists’ work
* Environment impact
* Hallucinations that caused harm and loss of life
* Creating undressing images of minors and woman
* The list list endless and you have to be psychopaths to like this

Hetzner (proveedor cloud europeo bastante extendido) va a aumentar sus precios un 36%.

Bastantes instancias de Mastodon usan Hetzner por detrás, así que podría pasar que algunas tuviesen que cerrar debido al aumento de costes.

Pero eh, a ti lo del aumento de precio del hardware no te va a afectar.

Hmmm.... so it now appears that AI (& LLMs) 'memorise' much of their training data than had been previously thought... to the extent that they can largely reproduce verbatim novels that were used in there training process.

As you can imagine this further complicates the claims about copyright infringement & the fair use defence that have been deployed by Big Tech.

Its more evidence of the theft at the heart of the (so-called) AI 'revolution'!

Creo que casi todos sabemos que hay dos grandes proveedores de pagos en el mundo: Visa y Mastercard.

Sin embargo, ¿sabíais que son empresas estadounidenses?

Aparte del aspecto económico, puesto que estas empresas se llevan una pequeña comisión por cada pago tramitado, esto también tiene implicaciones políticas.

Por ejemplo, una jueza de la Corte Penal Internacional perseguida por Trump vio como de repente no podía usar su tarjeta del banco para nada.

Teniendo en cuenta esto, disponer de un sistema de pagos europeo tiene dos ventajas claras: La comisión se queda "en casa" y tenemos la seguridad de que nuestros pagos (y datos) son gestionados por empresas europeas.
