I'm going to start filtering introductory posts, because, to be honest, they annoy me.

Listen, if you really want to stay around (which would be awesome, but, let's be real, also unlikely), other people will boost your posts, then I will see them and, if I find them interesting, I will check your bio, which is where you should put all that crap about you.

The fact that you may like the same things I do doesn't make you followable. Only what you post does.

@josemanuel Some did stick around last time, which is nice. We'll see, in the meantime just enjoy the extra activity, lol. :D

@trinsec Two things annoy me about the new batch: one is introductory posts, as I already mentioned; and the other, that some of them ask for help in a passive-aggressive way, like: “This does not work like Twitter, hence it must be bad and wrong. But anyway, is there a way to get the result I expect with this shit software whose documentation I didn't bother to read?” (I'm exaggerating, but not by that much.)

Other than that, I'm glad people decided to join and I hope they will stay. Most seem nice.

Also, good job helping the newbies. Thanks for being that person.

@josemanuel I tend to skim over those kind of posts. The introduction, ok nice, kthx. And the passive-aggressive... yeah I ignore them usually because, well, yeah, this ain't Twitter, bud. Unless there's a group with misinformation going, then I might throw in some explanation.

But yeah, I guess we're about on the same page, except I'm less annoyed. :D

And thanks! Genuine wonderings and questions I'm willing to help out!
