Does anyone use the #edit feature to tell jokes?
You can ask the question:
How many chickens does it take to tap dance on a sausage?
Then you get people to #favourite the #toot, then you can edit in the answer later on and it will appear in people's notifications.

Our Mastodon fork is a bit too old to see edits, so I wouldn't know.

I don't even see an edit unless I visit your post on your instance's site. I faved after edit if you edited it, but I don't see an edited post either way. I seriously think our Mastodon fork can't handle edits. Yet. I'm gonna bug my admin.
