@urusan Corporate government surveillance.
@coolboymew It fucks as in “it fucks you up” or in the good way?
What happened to @mangeurdenuage? It’s been four days since he last posted something.
@kingu_platypus_gidora Good luck!
@libreture book-open, maybe? A flying-book would be better suited for this, though, but heroicons doesn’t seem to have it.
@sampo Nothing says: “Capitalism is awesome!” quite like an ex-soviet Premier advertising a US fast food restaurant chain. A Finnish phone, no matter how reliable and undestructible, can’t compete with that. The media knows this and acts accordingly.
@coolboymew No, but, depending on the machine, it can be a bit uncomfortable/distressing because of the noise. Modern scanners make a softer sound (still noisy, though) and that helps a lot.
Also, if you’re claustrophobic it might not be a fun experience, because it really takes a long time (between twenty minutes and an hour, sometimes more if you move).
The nurses try to make it as comfortable an experience as possible (they give you ear plugs and a button you can push if there is any problem), but, in the end, it is what it is, a necessary evil.
@coolboymew Last time I went into one of those, I closed my eyes and concentrated on the sound. I swear I got the impression that it was an electropunk concept album about how the two nurses who attended me wanted to blow up the hospital.
@coolboymew To be honest, that image’s artstyle gives me the creeps, but to each their own, I guess.
